Astronomical Societies on Facebook

As ever I like to look up and so what others are doing, which in the case of Facebook means doing searches for other Astronomical societies. As mentioned before I am now the Programming Officers for the Loughton Astronomical Society, and wanted to bring the LAS to Facebook, a dash of Web 2.0. I started a Facebook Group some four months ago. Further research though showed the limitations of Groups.

Groups are for little huddles of people, what I really need is a Facebook Page, an official entry into the Facebook system, something that will appear on Google.

Looks like I’ll have to start all over again, but better!
